Scaled for a young child yet generous enough for use as a daybed or seating, it sits between toddler furniture and a lasting piece of interior furniture. The kit allows the Divan to be configured as a three-walled toddler bed, an open toddler bed, or a daybed, so the piece can shift from sleep to play to everyday use as a child grows.

It is crafted from solid Ash, White Oak, or Black Walnut and finished by hand with an organic oil/wax finish. The kit is made in Europe and measures 55 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 11 inches high. It fits a standard crib mattress with minimum dimensions of 27 1/4 inches wide by 51 5/8 inches long and a thickness of 4 to 6 inches.

It meets U.S., Canadian, Australian, and European safety standards and is stated to be free of endocrine-disrupting chemicals, with no toxins or off-gassing. Buyers with a Caravan Crib purchased before October 2016 are advised to contact Kalon with their crib's serial number to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Key Features

Converts the Caravan Crib into the low-profile Caravan Divan

Optional configuration with or without backrest

Usable as a three-walled toddler bed, open toddler bed, or daybed

Fits a standard crib mattress

Meets U.S., Canadian, Australian, and European safety standards

Free of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDC-free), with no off-gassing

TrustScore

TrustScore is Birch's proprietary rating, from 0 to 100, built from 50+ signals that reflect what actually matters to parents — safety, materials, recalls, certifications and quality.
