It gives kids a dedicated space for painting, drawing, and magnetic play that adjusts as they grow, with a height range of 38.6 to 43.9 inches set by twist knobs.

The frame is built from New Zealand pine and hemlock with a smooth, splinter-free finish, paired with E1-rated eco-friendly MDF panels and non-toxic water-based paint. One side is a magnetic whiteboard for markers and the other a magnetic chalkboard for dust-free chalk, so the same easel supports writing, drawing, and magnetic letter or tile play. It folds flat with side stabilizer bars for storage in smaller spaces, and comes with a 3-meter paper roll, three paint cups, a board eraser, a marker, and four dust-free chalks to get started right away.

Assembly is rated easy and estimated at 10 to 15 minutes, though it requires an adult and the tools provided. The paper roll has no retaining mechanism, so it can roll loose or get pulled during play.

Key Features

Made from New Zealand pine and hemlock with a smooth, splinter-free finish

E1-rated eco-friendly MDF construction

Finished with non-toxic water-based paint

Folds flat using side stabilizer bars for compact storage

Height adjusts from 38.6 to 43.9 inches with twist knobs

Double-sided whiteboard and chalkboard, both magnetic

Includes a 3-meter paper roll, 3 paint cups, a board eraser, a marker, and 4 dust-free chalks

Recommended for children ages 3 to 8

TrustScore

TrustScore is Birch's proprietary rating, from 0 to 100, built from 50+ signals that reflect what actually matters to parents — safety, materials, recalls, certifications and quality.
