A separate recall for a phthalate violation in a different product line (Tummy Time art card pockets) is unrelated to this cardboard puzzle's finish.

Fit & Durability — 82/100
One customer review confirms the pieces are large, fit well for a two-year-old's hands, and hold up to normal handling, though notes the board pieces can bend and shouldn't get wet — a single review rather than a corroborated pattern of fit or durability.

Toy Safety Compliance — 79/100
We found no ASTM F963 or CPSIA testing statement naming this puzzle specifically, though the brand publishes a general CPSIA-and-UKCA compliance statement and phthalate/lead/soluble-metals testing claim across its catalog. Wee Gallery is an identifiable, retail-distributed manufacturer, so non-publication of a CPC for this item is not unusual.

Age Grading & Choking Safety — 92/100
The Ages 2+ label is repeated consistently across the brand's own page, a retailer listing, and a third-party roundup that independently states the same 2-4 year age rating and piece count, without any of them merely echoing brand copy verbatim.

Recall History — 92/100
We queried the CPSC recall registry directly and found two closed, voluntary recalls: a 2021 choking-hazard recall of a different puzzle line (Wooden Tray Puzzles) and a 2024 phthalates recall of a Tummy Time product, neither of which covers this cardboard 2-piece puzzle. Both were voluntary, with no injuries reported.

Certification Credibility — 91/100
The puzzle board is named as FSC Certified, a specific, finished-product-scoped material claim.
