Saco de dormir de 1.0 TOG

The sleep bag is sold with a stated TOG rating (1.7, for 69-74°F rooms) and sizing by age, with no weighting, hood, ties or cords described anywhere; a side-to-bottom zipper and underarm snaps define the fit rather than loose fabric that could ride up.

The exterior is GOTS-certified organic cotton, independently corroborated as 100% organic muslin cotton for the sleep bag line, though this 1.7 TOG variant's fill is hypoallergenic polyester rather than pure cotton, and the fill's certifying body is not named.

The muslin cotton is GOTS certified under Control Union licence 1031146, a claim repeated by independent reviews and directories as covering the finished sleep bag itself, not just the raw fibre. No certificate number is shown resolving specifically to this garment.

We queried the CPSC recall database directly against a 9,966-record corpus with a working control, and found no record for this brand at any date. A separate Health Canada recall exists for a different Pehr sleepwear item (Kimono Rompers, flammability), handled with a stop-use notice, no injuries reported.

This is a wearable sleep bag, and it is sold in a 9-18 month size as well as an infant one, so the federal sleepwear flammability rules reach it for the older child. Pehr names no route to meeting them: there is no snug-fit statement carrying the wording the rule requires, and no flame-resistant treatment is claimed either. Retailer listings repeat the fabric and the TOG rating without adding one. Nothing here suggests the bag would fail the standard - the route simply is not published anywhere.

The organic cotton carries a GOTS certificate number, 1031146, issued by Control Union and named consistently across the brand's own pages. Third-party sleep-sack round-ups and directories repeat that number, but none of them resolves it against the issuing body, so it stands as a specific and checkable brand claim rather than a confirmed one. A separate broad claim of CPSIA third-party testing names neither a lab nor a certificate.

Production uses peroxide whitening and water-based, AZO-free dyes without synthetic chemicals or toxic solvents, but there is no explicit statement ruling out wrinkle-resistant or water/stain-repellent finishes on this sleep bag, and no test method or result is given.

A regulator recall record discloses the actual manufacturer name and country of manufacture (Century Apparels Private, Tirupur, India), a fact never published on the brand's own pages. Manufacturing partners also participate in SEDEX and SMETA ethical-audit programs.

The construction is described with a full-length zipper and adjustable underarm snaps for a secure fit as the baby grows, but no zip-guard detail, no neck-opening measurement, and no test or review-corpus check confirming retention is published.

The print method is named (hand screen printing with AZO-free dyes) but no hardware material, no nickel/lead-free statement, and no snap-retention testing is disclosed for this sleep bag, which uses snap and zipper closures.
