Yes. Creating a registry and building your list on Birch is free. You and your gift-givers only pay for the products purchased.

Creating an account takes less than a minute and lets us save your registry, track gifts as they're purchased, and prevent duplicates. You won't need to re-enter anything once you're signed in.

Smart Registry gives you a personalized list based on your due date, budget, and preferences. From there, you can add anything else using the Birch browser extension, which works on any store's site. Birch AI can also help you refine your registry. Think of Smart Registry as your baseline, and the extension as how you fill in the rest.

TrustScore is Birch's product rating built from more than 50 signals covering safety, materials, recalls, certifications, and quality. Every product in the Birch catalog is evaluated and scored before it can be added to a registry, so parents can compare items on more than price and reviews. The goal is to remove the guesswork of deciding whether a baby product is safe and well-made.

The Smart Registry is Birch's AI-guided registry builder. Instead of starting from a blank list, it suggests what you'll actually need based on your due date, budget, and preferences, and helps you avoid over- or under-buying in categories like feeding, sleep, and travel. You stay in control — every suggestion is optional and can be edited or removed.

No, it's Birch products only. When a friend or family member buys a Birch product from your registry, you get 5% of it back as Birch Credit. Products added from other stores don't earn Birch Credit, and neither do items you buy for yourself.

The 15% completion discount applies to the remaining Birch products on your registry. Items added from other stores aren't eligible.

Yes. Birch supports group gifting, so multiple people can contribute toward a larger item like a stroller or crib. Each contributor pays their share, and the gift is fulfilled once fully funded.

Yes. Alongside physical products, you can add cash funds to your registry for things like a college start, a nursery project, or general baby expenses. Gift-givers contribute directly, and funds are made available to you.

Share your registry link and gift-givers can open it without creating an account. They can buy a product outright, contribute to a group gift, or add to a cash fund. Purchased items are marked so no one buys a duplicate.

When a guest buys an item added from another store, they check out through Birch directly — Birch handles getting the order to you, so it's marked purchased automatically, the same as a native Birch item. No one has to remember to come back and mark anything.

Birch products, yes: you can convert a Birch gift to Birch Credit any time before it ships. Gifts from other stores can't be converted before they ship. If one arrives and isn't right, email support@birchstore.com and we'll help you return it. Gifts can't be converted to cash.

Yes, you can add any product from any store to your Birch registry.
