Colchón Auxiliar Classic Wave

The foam core is stated at 1.5–2 inches depending on model, marketed around breathability and "support and cushioning," but no firmness or flatness testing is published and an independent tester found the surface easy to compress, offering less support than competitors.

The pad is sold in dimensions and thickness specific to the Original versus Maxi/Maxi Tall babybay models, with the brand's own FAQ confirming it does not fit pre-2020 babybay models or any non-babybay bedside sleeper. An independent tester confirmed the mattress fit snugly against the bassinet slats.

The pad is stated to meet all US ASTM and CPSC safety standards and to be made without flame retardants, but no certificate number, accredited-lab report or specific 16 CFR part is published to evidence that claim for this aftermarket mattress.

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly across its full corpus and found one recall on record: Babynest crib bumpers used with babybay bedside sleepers, recalled in 2018 for a strangulation hazard, with no injuries reported. This is a different accessory line than the mattress pad being scored.

The cotton cover is certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 (certificate 12.0.03346) for being free of harmful substances, and the pad is stated to be free of flame retardants; the cover itself is explicitly not waterproof, so no PVC or PFAS waterproofing polymer is at issue.

The mattress pad carries a named OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate number (12.0.03346) for being free of harmful substances, independently echoed by an outside reviewer.

The foam core is manufactured without CFCs and without flame retardants, and an independent reviewer notes no detectable off-gassing was claimed by the brand, but no GREENGUARD, CertiPUR-US or CARB certificate is named for this mattress pad.

This mattress pad is a fabric-and-foam layer with no casters, mounts or load-bearing hardware, and no load rating, locking mechanism or torque guidance is published for it anywhere.

The foam core and cotton cover materials are named, but manufacturing location and any warranty or spare-parts terms specific to this mattress pad are not published anywhere we found.

The pad lies flat on the sleep surface with a zip-on cotton cover and no hanging cords, straps or clip-on parts, and nothing is published about cord length, mounting reach or a hanging weight limit for this item.

The pad's two components are named — a polyurethane foam core and a 100% cotton cover — but adhesives, quilting thread and any additional finishes are not disclosed, leaving the component list incomplete for this specific product.
