CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

86 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Bib Material Safety 91

The bib body is a named material pairing: a 100% cotton front with a polyester backing, not PVC or an undisclosed waterproof coating, stated by the brand and repeated by a retailer guide.

Food-Contact Material Safety 84

The bib's cotton front, the part that meets drool and food, is covered by Parker Baby Co.'s statement that its products are made without phthalates and BPA, but the polyester backing's chemistry and the BPA substitutes BPS and BPF are not addressed, and no migration result is published.

Surface Treatment Avoidance 79

The cotton front, polyester backing, and nickel-free snaps are described in detail with no stain-resistant, water-repellent, or antimicrobial finish ever claimed, but it also never explicitly states the absence of such a treatment.

Textile Certification 78

No OEKO-TEX or GOTS certification is claimed for this bib set, and Target's own product data names no textile certification for it. Parker Baby Co. states only that its products are made without formaldehyde, phthalates, BPA or added flame retardants.

Heat & Wear Behavior 84

Care is machine wash cold, lay flat to dry and no bleach for this all-fabric bib; no hot-wash or dryer tolerance and no wash-durability testing is published.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall registry's complete corpus (10,047 records, 1973-2026) and found no record naming Parker Baby Co. in any role. The query's controls confirm the database does cover comparable baby product classes, so this is a clean regulator result.

Certification Credibility 93

Target's own product data for this bib set lists it as meeting ASTM standards, backing Parker Baby Co.'s statement that products subject to children's safety rules are third-party tested by CPSC-accepted labs with Children's Product Certificates. Neither names the standard or a certificate number.

Transparency & Support 85

Parker Baby Co. publishes concrete warranty terms, six months against defects in materials and workmanship with stated exclusions and a repair-first policy, but discloses manufacturing only as 'various countries', with the specific country available by email on request.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers frequently describe the bibs as thick, soft, and effective at absorbing heavy drool and spit-up before it reaches clothing.
Many reviewers appreciate the variety of solid colors, saying it makes it easy to match a bib to any outfit.
Several customers like that the snap closure replaces velcro, finding it more comfortable and easier to use than other bibs they've tried.
A few reviewers mention heavy droolers can still soak through the bib given high enough volume, though they note the backing keeps baby comfortable.
One customer felt the backing fabric was cheaply made and started to ball up after a single wash.
Some reviewers note the bibs fit smaller or snugger around the neck than expected, which some found helpful for a petite baby while others worried it would not fit as their baby grew.
A couple of reviewers mention the tag placement is uncomfortably close to the chin area and can scratch while wiping the baby's face.
Multiple customers consider the set a good value given the quantity and quality of bibs included.

most absorbent and cutest bibs! The way these drape catch extra spit up and the fabric absorbs the liquids right away. They are also super cute :)
Caroline
I needed a bib for my 3 month old son who is drooling ALOT! These bibs did the trick. They are made very well and very soft and he looks SO cute with the bandana look
Jenn D.
I’ve used these bibs for over 8 years with my 3 children. It has been a life saver. The saliva does not go through this bib no matter how much drool is on top. The bottom of the bib is soft and keeps baby dry. This set is perfect, because you have a color for every outfit!

I do like this product. However the backing fabric is very cheap and after just one was it has balled up and feels like it going to fall apart.
