The padded board cover is specifically built to be sturdy and resist coming apart in a child's mouth, addressing choking risk by design. Target lists the book as suitable for ages 0-3, though the book's own page gives only general 'infant or toddler' wording rather than a matching numeric range.

The padded board cover is sturdy and resistant to coming apart in a child's mouth, but no ink safety claim, lamination detail, or any test method or result backs this up. One review reports a torn page.

This book is marketed as a board book for infants and toddlers learning first words, but the specific 0-4 month newborn high-contrast claim quoted in our records actually belongs to a different contrast-book product, not this title.

The book covers first words across named categories like animals, toys and food, and reviewers confirm their children enjoy it repeatedly, though one review flags the embroidered-image description as actually illustrated rather than photographed textile.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,039 records, 1973–2026) and found no record naming this brand. A control search confirms the registry covers relevant categories like toys and strollers, so the clean result reflects a clean history rather than a gap in the search.

No certification, safety standard, or third-party testing claim is published for this book anywhere we could find, and nothing adjacent gestures at one either.

The brand offers to help with any issues but publishes no concrete warranty terms, no materials disclosure beyond 'padded board,' and no country of manufacture for this book.
