Características clave

Certificaciones

    • OEKO-TEX Certified

    Certified by OEKO-TEX (Standard 100)

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifies that every component of a textile item has been lab-tested and found free of harmful substances above set limits.

    What it checks

    • Testing of yarn, fabric, buttons, and other accessories against a list of over 1,000 regulated substances
    • Stricter chemical limits for products with more intensive skin contact, including a dedicated infant/toddler product class
    • Compliance with chemical regulations such as REACH, CPSIA, and the ECHA-SVHC candidate list
    • Annual review of substance limit values and one-year validity per certificate

What it does not cover It tests for chemical residues only and does not certify general product safety features like choking hazards, flammability, or mechanical construction.

This certification is held by the brand or manufacturer, not by Birch. We show it because the brand states it for this product. Summarised from the certifying body's own page.

CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

89 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Attachment Security 84

The liner is easy to switch out, machine-washable and designed to fit the G5 Infant Car Seat, but no mount method, attachment points or load rating are stated, and no test or review of attachment security under use is available.

Accessory Material Chemistry 91

The liner fabric is named and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, which screens for pesticides, toxic chemicals and dyes in textiles touching the child. No separate PFAS-free statement for water-resistance or hardware lead testing is published for this liner.

Safety Standard Compliance 92

The G5 Infant Car Seat this liner is made for passes FMVSS 302/213, and Baby Safety Alliance (formerly JPMA) verification is extended to eligible Orbit Baby products, with independent lab sample-testing behind that seal and NHTSA compliance test reports confirming testing occurred on an Orbit Baby infant car seat model.

Recall History 92

We queried the CPSC recall database directly across its full corpus and found no record naming Orbit Baby in any role. A separate voluntary recall of a car seat base (a different component) was handled proactively with a free repair kit and no injuries reported, which does not cover this liner.

Textile & Foam Chemistry 91

The fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, screening for pesticides, toxic dyes and other harmful substances in textiles touching the child. No PFAS-free or flame-retardant-free statement specific to this liner's fabric is published.

Certification Credibility 91

The liner fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, a named finished-textile standard, and the car seat line itself passes FMVSS 302/213 with Baby Safety Alliance (JPMA) verification layered on top. No certificate number is published for the liner itself.

Reachable Small Parts 84

The liner includes a head support insert and buckle/strap padding but does not state whether any attached pulls, toggles or decorative parts are secured or inspected for detachment, and no small-parts testing is published for it.

Transparency & Support 91

Orbit Baby publishes a concrete two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, with stated exclusions (non-approved accessories, products bought before 2019 or outside the G5 series) and a defined claims process, plus a manuals library for assembly and use. Country of manufacture and supplier are not published.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers say the liner fits their existing Orbit car seat well, including when reused on an older G3 seat shell.
Reviewers mention the cushion is easy to install, remove, and clean, and holds up well after washing.
Some customers feel the ability to replace just the liner extends the life of their car seat rather than replacing the whole unit.

Love orbit baby this fit very well on my older car seat
Love B.
I wanted to reuse my previously purchased g3 car seat and wanted very much to get a new liner. The G5 fits perfectly. I feel like I have a brand new car seat for my little one. This company's items are life long quality and the ability to update pieces as needed, extends the life of the product.
Guidy P.
We Love Orbit baby! The cushion wears well when washed and it is easy to re-attach!:)
