G5 Stroller Winter Kit

The kit's gloves wrap around the stroller handle and its cocoon is designed to fit the G5 stroller, and attachment is called easy and secure, but no rated load, frame-fit testing or independent review of mount security under load is published.

The winter kit fabric is named as water-repellent and 100% PVC-free, but no PFAS-free statement is made for the water-repellent treatment and no OEKO-TEX or other chemistry certificate is cited for this specific accessory.

Eligible products carry the Baby Safety Alliance (formerly JPMA) Verified Seal with annual independent retesting against ASTM standards, federal and state law, and chemical limits, plus CPSIA tracking-label compliance, though this is asserted at the product-line level rather than specifically for the winter kit.

No recall of this product appears in the CPSC recall database (10,053 records, 1973-2026). Orbit Baby's record holds two voluntary car seat base recalls: the 2013 G2 base, whose StrongArm knob could detach or spin without tightening, and a 2017 G3 base labeling issue in Canada, both remedied with free repair kits and no injuries reported. Neither covers the G5 Stroller Winter Kit.

The winter kit is water-repellent and PVC-free, and the brand asserts OEKO-TEX certified textiles across its strollers generally, but no flame-retardant-free statement, PFAS disclosure or test method is given for this accessory's fabric or fill.

We found no certification claim published for the Winter Kit itself. The brand's OEKO-TEX and JPMA/Baby Safety Alliance claims appear only for strollers, car seats and fabrics generally, never attached to this accessory's materials.

Nothing is published about whether the faux-fur trim, gloves or window fastenings carry small detachable parts within the seated child's reach, and the brand's own instructions warn the child must be monitored while the Winter Kit is in use.

The brand publishes a concrete 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, with explicit exclusions named (non-approved accessories, pre-2019 or non-G5 products) and manuals published for assembly and use of each accessory.
