Grosmimi One Touch Cap

The front button can be disassembled by impact and shaking the cap open can let the joints come apart, causing injury or damage.

This dome lid seals directly over the drinking spout and is leak-proof, so it is a food-contact-adjacent surface, but only "Plastic" is named with no polymer identity and no bisphenol-free scope stated for this part specifically.

No cleaning or drying instructions are published for this cap beyond a warning against boiling-water sterilization, and nothing describes how to dry the dome cavity or hinge area after washing.

This cap is suitable for all Grosmimi bottles and straw cups but names no specific models, neck sizes, or dimensions to confirm fit, and a review confirms it as a genuine replacement part for at least one bottle.

The brand itself warns not to use the cap right after hot drinks due to backflow and burn risk, and not to sterilize it in boiling water; reviews independently report the cover breaking when dropped and the button disassembling on impact.

We queried the CPSC recall database directly across its full history and found no record naming Grosmimi in any role. The corpus and date range are stated, and a control confirms the product class is covered, so this is a clean, reproducible result.

Grosmimi asserts lead-free sealing materials and references an unnamed lab's lead-free test report for a sibling straw cup, but no lab name, certificate number, or test method is given, and none of this is claimed for this cap itself.

The lid is sold as a standalone leak-proof replacement cap, but no seal type, temperature rating, or graduation detail is published, and reviews describe the button and cover breaking on impact rather than confirming seal performance.

The brand discloses the corporate entity behind its authorized distributor and publishes a concrete one-year warranty against manufacturing defects with a no-questions-asked replacement remedy for leaks or material degradation.
