I just received this recliner brand new and wanted to share my experience. On the positive side, assembly was very easy—it took about 15–20 minutes and the instructions were straightforward. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the parts upon arrival. The two support pieces for the back sides were dirty, with a staple coming loose, and the backrest is noticeably darker than the base, almost as if it had been previously used. Overall, I do like the chair and plan to keep it, but I don’t understand why a new product would arrive in this condition.

We tried out the electric glider in store and found it incredibly comfortable. After reading reviews of faulty electronics, we decided to order the manual Kiwi. It’s incredibly disappointing. The fabric feels incredibly cheap and the recline is clunky and especially challenging to maneuver if you’ve just had a c section. The back also feels much deeper than what we experienced in store and is uncomfortable for me. This was supposed to be a purchase to make our lives easier with a newborn and now it’s one more thing to deal with. Would not recommend.

Do not buy this unless you live on the first floor. It was left outside on a busy walkway all day. They didn't bring it up the stairs and it weighs far too much for one person to carry up. For how much this cost and the possibility of it being left outside to be ruined by the elements or stolen, best to buy something else from a company that cares.
