Fibre content is fully published and single-fibre — 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton muslin, no synthetics — and the goods are designed in San Francisco and manufactured in China, a provenance independent organic-baby writers repeat alongside the GOTS organic cotton. The design itself avoids the main hazards for a mouthing-age child: it fastens with snaps at the back neck and at the bottom, with bloomer-style coverage, no cords or ties at the neck and no detachable decorative appliqués. Snap retention and seam construction are not addressed — there is no reinforced-snap or flat-seam statement, and no small-parts or use-and-abuse test method or result is published.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and found one entry for Apple Park: a 2013 recall of children's loungewear for violating the federal flammability standard. Nothing has been filed in the thirteen years since, and nothing in the layette or romper category this garment belongs to.

This shortall is made of 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton muslin and coloured with OEKO-TEX 100 fabric dyes, and the GOTS certification for the organic muslin apparel line is described independently by organic-baby writers and specialty retailers who carry it. No licence code or certificate number is published for either claim.

Nothing on this shortall is sold as easy-care, wrinkle-resistant, non-iron, stain-resistant or water-repellent; the fabric is plain organic muslin, the care direction is a cool iron and no bleach, and flame-retardant materials are not used anywhere in the line. There is no explicit statement that the garment carries no wrinkle-resistant or stain/water-repellent finish, and no formaldehyde or PFAS test method or result is published.

Care guidance for the organic layette is specific and consistent wherever it appears: machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, tumble dry low, cool iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean. It stops short of the one thing this criterion most wants — there is no instruction to wash the garment before first wear.

The products are designed in San Francisco and manufactured in China, the footie is a bamboo blend with organic cotton, and the rattle is organic sherpa and velour with embroidered details. Warranty terms and the name of the manufacturing partner are not published.

The garment closes with snaps at the back neck and at the bottom, and its printed muslin is coloured with OEKO-TEX 100 fabric dyes that are low-impact and azo-free to GOTS requirements, so the print chemistry is addressed — but the snap metal is not: nickel-free or lead-free hardware is never stated, and the print method is not named.
