Camote de Okinawa, plátano y taro

Every batch of this pouch is tested for arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury by an ISO 17025-accredited lab (Light Labs, by ICP-MS/MS), and the certificate for each lot is published. The latest, lot 07/15/27 tested 2026-07-22, puts all four metals within the per-serving limits, with lead at 0.05 mcg per serving and mercury not detected.

Nothing in the available information names the pouch or spout polymer, states a bisphenol-free scope, or otherwise addresses the chemistry of any surface the puree touches.

This is clearly labeled as Stage 2, a blended-flavor puree for a specific developmental stage, rather than overstating readiness or borrowing infant-formula language; the age/stage claim is concrete and consistent with the food itself.

No guidance is published on heating, warming or reheating this pouch, no replacement or shelf-stability schedule, and no statement about how the packaging holds up to handling or storage temperature.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database, over 10,000 records spanning 1973 to 2026, with controls confirming the corpus covers baby-food-adjacent categories. Piko Provisions appears nowhere in it — a clean, reproducible regulatory record.

Once opened, a pouch is to be refrigerated and eaten within 24 hours, a concrete storage instruction in the brand's own words; nothing is published on warming, serving from the pouch or discarding a pouch with a broken seal.

The brand names the Hawaii Seal of Quality and Made in Hawaii with Aloha, but none of these are food-safety or material certifications relevant to this criterion's standards, and no certificate numbers or registry links are given for any of them.

The brand discloses that it moved from a small co-manufacturer to its own Waipahu, Hawaii facility, but no materials list, no warranty terms and no spare-parts or repair route are published anywhere.

It uses only whole fruits and vegetables with no fillers or synthetic preservatives, and a third party calls the line 'organic,' but no certification scheme or scope is named and ingredient origins beyond 'Hawaii-grown' are not specified.

Neither the pouch laminate nor the spout material is named anywhere, and there is no bisphenol-free or phthalate-free statement covering the packaging for this product.
