Organic Crinkle Toy

Its products, including crinkle toys, are tested for phthalates, lead and soluble metals, but a different Wee Gallery product's plastic window was found to exceed federal phthalate limits, showing a past materials lapse in the brand's plastic components rather than this fabric toy.

Reviews describe the toy as good quality and durable enough for regular grabbing, squeezing and mouthing, but no source specifically addresses seam or stitching durability over repeated use for this item.

It is fully CPSIA compliant and certified to US and UKCA safety standards, though it does not name ASTM F963 specifically or publish a CPC for this toy.

The crinkle sound and grab-friendly design are confirmed working as intended by reviewers, and the toy washed and dried well by hand with the crinkle still functioning afterward.

Use is described from the newborn stage through several months of age, but no explicit age grading or small-parts warning is published for this specific crinkle toy.

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly and found two voluntary recalls on record for this brand: a 2024 phthalates recall of the Baby Tummy Time Gallery and a 2021 choking-hazard recall of wooden tray puzzles — neither covers this crinkle toy line. Both were voluntary, and no injuries were reported.

The brand names GOTS certification for the factory producing its fabric products and cites OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for polyester fill used in some toys; a social post separately cites a specific OEKO-TEX certificate number tied to Wee Gallery crinkle toys, though its link to this exact egg design is not fully clear.

The material (100% organic cotton shell, crinkle paper filling) and care instructions are disclosed, but the country of manufacture, supplier, and any warranty terms for this toy are not published.
