Barrita infantil de mantequilla de maní y chocolate de Skout Organic

The wrapper is the surface that meets this bar until it's eaten, and no wrapper material, liner composition, or migration data is published for it anywhere in the brand's materials.

An independent lab test of this bar, reported in October 2024, found 42 ppb cadmium, 10 ppb lead and 6 ppb arsenic, with mercury not detected; cadmium and lead were above the action levels proposed in the 2021 Baby Food Safety Act. No recall or regulator action followed. Packs shipped to California also carry a Proposition 65 warning for lead.

0 g added sugar: the bar is sweetened only with organic dates, and this flavor is not one of the few that contain under 1 g of maple syrup or coconut sugar. The Nutrition Facts list 9 g total sugar.

The bar declares peanuts per FALCPA, and the brand specifically discloses it is not a nut-free facility, names which allergens share its production lines, and details its allergen cleaning process between runs.

The bar carries a 12-month shelf life from production and a printed best-by date, with pantry storage recommended, but no stated storage temperature range or heat-exposure guidance is published anywhere we found.

The full ingredient list is published: organic dates, organic peanut butter, organic cocoa powder and Himalayan pink salt. USDA Organic certification through Oregon Tilth is named for the finished bar.

No recall naming Skout Organic appears in the FDA food recall and enforcement database, which covers reports from June 2012 to October 2026, and the same search does return other snack-bar recalls, so this is a clean record rather than a missed search.

The finished bar is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth, Certified Vegan by Vegan.org and Certified Gluten-Free by GFCO, each named for the product with its certifier, though no certificate numbers are published.

Common catalog ingredients and a defect-replacement process tied to a best-by date are disclosed, but no country-of-manufacture, no formal warranty terms, and no repair or spare-parts route relevant to a consumable product are published.

Suitable, under adult supervision, for children over one who eat solid foods; the bars are about 60-70% dates, which keeps them soft and easy to chew. The peanut is in the bar as peanut butter, not as pieces.
