Galletas Suaves de Avena con Chispas de Chocolate Orgánicas Skout

The packaging and wrapper that meet this baked cookie are not described anywhere: no material, liner composition, or food-contact safety statement is published for the wrap or box.

Packs shipped to California carry a Proposition 65 warning for lead, explained by the trace lead in organic cocoa. Lead in Skout's products is given as about 2.6 micrograms per serving, but the published figures do not agree in their units, and no cadmium, arsenic or mercury results are given for these cookies.

The label states 7g of sugar per cookie serving, and the brand names its sweeteners directly: organic coconut sugar, organic dates, and organic maple syrup, rather than hiding them behind a generic 'fruit-sweetened' claim.

The cookie's own allergen statement names coconut as the only declared allergen, and the brand discloses that its facility also processes gluten, dairy, grain, soy, wheat and eggs with a stated cleaning process between runs rather than a blanket disclaimer.

The cookie is stated to be shelf-stable with a 9-month shelf life from production, stored in a cool, dry place with no refrigeration needed, but no opened-pack window or specific temperature range is given.

The full ingredient list is published, and the organic claim is scoped to the finished product and certified by Oregon Tilth under the USDA National Organic Program, not limited to a single ingredient.

No recall naming Skout Organic appears in the FDA food recall and enforcement database, which covers reports from June 2012 to October 2026, and the same search does return other snack-bar recalls, so this is a clean record rather than a missed search.

The cookie is Certified Organic (Oregon Tilth), Certified Vegan (Vegan.org), Certified Gluten Free (GFCO), and Certified Plastic Neutral (rePurpose Global) for the finished product, each a named third-party certifier rather than a self-applied logo. No certificate numbers are published.

The full ingredient list and country/manufacturing facility allergen-handling process are published, but the country of manufacture, supplier identities, and any warranty or defect remedy terms specific to this product are not stated beyond a general quality-assurance mention.

No minimum age or audience is given for the Soft-Baked Cookies; the over-one guidance is written for the kids bars. The cookies are soft-baked and list no nuts; they contain oats and chocolate chips.
