Hands-on testing by an independent baby-gear outlet gave this sleeper a top score for breathability, finding no fabric or other obstruction that could impede a baby's breathing, with wood-slat sides and a slatted floor whose open spaces let air circulate; that testing comes from a single outlet. The brand names an OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class 1 certificate, 12.0.03346, for its mattress pads, covers and sheets, which are sold separately from the sleeper. For the wooden sleeper itself it states only that it is certified by ASTM and TÜV, with no certificate number or testing lab named.

Every part of the sleeper is stated to comply with EN 717-1, the formaldehyde emission standard for wood, and the finishes with EN 71-3 and ASTM F963. The frame is solid beechwood with no plywood, and no flame retardants are used. VOC off-gassing is stated to be undetectable, but no test result is published, and the sleeper does not carry GREENGUARD Gold.

Materials are published component by component — 100% ethically-sourced European beechwood, no plywood, no plastic parts, water-based finishes or untreated raw wood, and metal fittings tested for heavy metals — alongside manufacture in Germany and a 10-year warranty on the wood. The caveat is depth: the German factory itself is never named.
