babyletto x GATHRE Capsule Bassinet
Babyletto
The babyletto x GATHRE Capsule Bassinet is a bassinet made for newborns, combining a sculptural, capsule-shaped basket with rounded rubberwood legs. It is intended for use until a baby can roll over or sit up, generally around 3 to 4 months. A babyletto organic All-Stages Bassinet Sheet is sold separately for a 360-degree elastic fit.
The basket is upholstered in bonded vegan leather siding that is wipeable and waterproof, with a padded insert to help contain spills and messes. It is finished in a non-toxic, multi-step staining and upholstery process that is lead and phthalate safe, meeting or exceeding ASTM International and U.S. CPSC safety standards. The foam inside meets CA TB117-2013 flammability requirements and is CertiPUR-US certified, meaning it is made without PBDE or Tris flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, CFCs, or the phthalates regulated by the CPSC.
Once a baby outgrows the bassinet stage, the legs can be removed so the basket can be repurposed for toy storage.
