Chupones BIBS Boheme, paquete de 4, talla 1 — Marfil/Rubor/Flor/Lila oscuro

The pacifier shield is disclosed as 100% food-safe polypropylene, free from BPA, PVC and phthalates, but no BPS or BPF disclosure is made for the pacifier shield specifically — the BPS-free claim on file applies only to bottle components, leaving a bisphenol-replacement gap for this product's food-contact surface.

The nipple material is named as natural rubber latex, with a note that latex is subject to natural fluctuations in appearance, but no nitrosamine test values are published and no explicit latex allergy warning appears alongside the material disclosure.

BIBS states its pacifiers comply with European Standard EN 1400+A2 and are additionally tested to US 16 CFR 1511 and Canadian SOR/2016-184 requirements, sold direct from Birch rather than an unvetted marketplace seller, though no certificate number is published for either standard.

The shield is carefully designed with ventilation holes to reduce moisture buildup and allow airflow if the whole pacifier were mouthed, and the shield is unpainted, food-grade polypropylene rather than a decorated finish, removing any heavy-metal-in-ink concern.

We found a concrete replacement interval of 4-6 weeks stated for hygiene and safety, plus an explicit sterilization caveat: latex pacifiers should not go in UV sterilizers, and it has not been tested with all electric steam sterilizer models and cannot be recommended for that reason.

We queried the complete CPSC recall corpus (9,966 records, 1973–2026) for this brand and found one recall on file: a 2022 burn-hazard recall of BIBS glass baby bottles over a shrinking silicone bumper, with no injuries reported and a free remedy offered. No pacifier recall exists, and this is a different product category than the pacifiers being scored.

Size bands 1 and 2 are published alongside age guidance, a 4-6 week replacement cadence is given for safety and hygiene, and specific degradation signals to watch for are listed: colour or surface change, altered shape or size, rupture, brittleness or stickiness.

BIBS names EN 1400+A2 compliance for its pacifiers directly and separately states its pacifiers undergo further testing to 16 CFR 1511 and Canada's SOR/2016-184, all for the finished product, though no certificate number is published.

The country of manufacture is disclosed as Denmark/EU and the shield material is named, but no full materials list (nipple compound grade, colourants) is published, and no concrete product warranty or repair/spare-parts terms are stated for the pacifier itself.
