Colchón transpirable para minicuna

Exact dimensions are published for this size — 23.5" x 37.5" x 3" at 8 lb — with a firm, flat, seamless waterproof surface, reinforced edge support and no memory foam or conforming comfort layer anywhere in the build, and the mattress is designed to meet CPSC and AAP firmness and snug-fit guidance. A crib-mattress testing outlet recommended this mini specifically for mini cribs after a tester used it from birth to eight months, and owners of mini cribs report a perfect, gap-free fit. The instrumented compression measurements available cover the standard-size Breathable model rather than this mini, and no lab report or manufacture date is published for this size.

Flammability compliance here is achieved by construction rather than chemistry: no chemical flame retardants, no fiberglass and no added flame barrier, with the published composition limited to organic cotton, PLA from sugarcane, food-grade polyethylene, polypropylene, TPU, elastane and polyester — no glass fibre or silica strand of any kind, and no 'do not remove cover' restriction, since the breathable cover is made to be removed and machine washed. Independent testers who read the sewn-in law tag on Naturepedic's breathable crib mattresses found only cotton batting, polyethylene foam and PLA batting, and a fiberglass-focused buying guide places the brand among those with documented fiberglass-free material disclosure.

Naturepedic states its crib mattresses are designed to meet applicable CPSC requirements for firmness, flat surface and snug fit, and that they pass all federal and state flammability standards without flame retardant chemicals. For this mini mattress the governing federal crib-mattress rule is not named, no Children's Product Certificate is published, and no accredited-lab report or manufacture-date coding is shown; a retailer carrying the full-size sibling asserts in its own product data that the mattress meets all ASTM safety requirements, which is the closest compliance statement in circulation.

The support core is food-grade polyethylene with a PLA firmness layer, and the waterproofing is polyethylene made from non-GMO sugarcane plus a GOTS-allowed TPU backing on the removable cover — no PVC or vinyl, no phthalates and no polyurethane foam of any kind. UL Solutions validated the crib and kids mattresses for non-detectable PFAS below 50 ppm total fluorine after testing roughly 80 PFAS compounds, with an additional independent lab screen of more than 250 compounds all measuring far below the strictest limits, and MADE SAFE certification separately prohibits PFAS and PVC. That validation is stated for the crib mattress line rather than shown against this mini size, and the test report itself is not published.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and Naturepedic appears nowhere in it, in any role, at any date. The same corpus returns 332 records mentioning cribs, so the product class is covered and the clean result reflects the brand's absence rather than a failed search.

This mini mattress carries GOTS, MADE SAFE, GREENGUARD Gold and EWG Verified certification, and the crib and kids mattresses hold UL Solutions' Environmental Claim Validation for non-detectable PFAS, evaluated to UL 2884 with testing for roughly 80 PFAS compounds plus a further independent lab screen of more than 250, with the validated products listed in UL's public product database. The FSC chain-of-custody licence code is published as FSC-C123979. The PFAS validation is stated for the crib mattress line rather than shown against this mini model, and no GOTS licence number is printed for it.

This mini mattress is GREENGUARD Gold certified and UL-validated formaldehyde-free; GREENGUARD Gold testing places the finished product in a sealed chamber and measures emissions against limits for more than 360 VOCs under the California Department of Public Health Section 01350 method. Reviewers who unboxed Naturepedic breathable crib mattresses reported no chemical odour or off-gassing, consistent with a build containing no polyurethane foam and no adhesives. The measured emission figures are not published for this model.

GOTS certification is asserted for this finished mini mattress, not merely for its cotton: the fabric and fill are GOTS-certified organic cotton, and the Chagrin Falls factory itself has been GOTS certified since 2009, with an independent verifier pulling finished mattresses off the line three times a year and tracing the cotton back to the farm and crop. The synthetic components — polypropylene interlinings, TPU waterproofing, polyester backing and thread and the elastane band — sit inside GOTS accessory allowances for a product that is more than 95% organic fibre rather than being certified organic themselves, and no licence number is printed for this model.

The full component list for this mini mattress is published — GOTS-certified organic cotton fabric and fill, polyethylene waterproofing from non-GMO sugarcane, food-grade polyethylene foam, a PLA firmness layer, steel fasteners, polypropylene interlinings, an elastane band, TPU waterproofing and polyester backing and thread — together with origin (made in the USA with domestic and global materials) and the Chagrin Falls, Ohio factory where the mattresses are built. Independent testers who examined the crib line reported the sewn-in law-tag fill percentages and the Ohio manufacturing registration number, and a reviewer who put questions to Naturepedic about the polyethylene comfort layer was given a written composition answer. A lifetime limited warranty covers the crib mattresses.

Every layer of this mini mattress is named: GOTS-certified organic cotton fabric and fill, a food-grade polyethylene core, a PLA firmness support layer made from non-GMO sugarcane, polyethylene waterproofing, polypropylene interlinings, an elastane band, TPU waterproofing, steel fasteners and polyester backing and thread. The disclosure also covers what is absent — no polyurethane foam, no vinyl or PVC, no phthalates, no glues or adhesives, and no added flame barrier.
