The garment carries no easy-care, wrinkle-resistant or non-iron marketing — care is simply machine wash warm, tumble dry low, and shrinkage is managed by cutting the garment long rather than by any finish. Formaldehyde and aromatic solvents are declared absent, and no chemical flame retardants are used on the clothing. Water- and stain-repellent treatments are not addressed one way or the other, and no formaldehyde or PFAS results are published.

Care instructions are specific and consistent everywhere this garment appears — machine wash warm, tumble dry low — together with detailed guidance that the cotton is cut long because it shrinks on the first machine wash and dry, and that line drying preserves the pre-wash length. What is not there is any instruction to wash the garment before first wear.
