The Crimson Quilt is a muslin cotton baby blanket sized to work from infancy through the toddler years. Made from four layers of 100% muslin cotton, it is built to be soft against the skin while remaining thick enough for everyday snuggling, tummy time, or layering over a car seat harness.
The fabric is dyed with lead-free dye and gets softer with repeated washing. For care, it can be machine washed with like items and then line dried or tumble dried on low.
At 47" x 47", the quilt is oversized enough to wrap a baby snugly while still offering enough coverage to be useful as a toddler, making it a blanket meant to be kept for years rather than swapped out as a child grows.

It's a really nice quality blanket and I love how large it is. I'm just disappointed in the colour. I thought it was going to be more of a rusty or brick red, and it's more bright red than I hoped. So in a green nursery, this is a bit too Christmas-y. I guess that's the risk you take with online shopping, you can't see things for yourself. Otherwise it's a really nice blanket, just wish I got a different colour.

I have a good handful of muslin blankets but this quilt is hands down the most amazing thing I've ever purchased. It's size is perfect (larger than a standard muslin cloth), it is much thicker (multi-layered), and very soft. I would buy another in a heartbeat!

Perfect size to snuggle baby in. Extra points for the color not bleeding red when I washed it 🙂
