We tried other straw cups for our 10 mo old, these truly are the smartest design! The "weighted" bottom so they aren't easy to knock over, the fully closed lid with only an opening for the straw so no leaking when not yet using them without the lid/straw, the "guide bumps" on the straw for the baby/toddler to feel and automatically purse their lips around, and the size options for growth are ALL so smart and help the transition to go well.
