The G5 Stroll, Lounge, & Ride Travel System is a modular stroller and car seat system built around 360-degree stroller seat rotation and three reclining positions, so the ride seat can turn toward or away from the person pushing. The set includes the G5+ Infant Car Seat, rated for infants from 4 to 30 pounds and 17 to 32 inches, and the G5 Travel Bassinet with a breathable aero-mesh mattress, giving the system stroller, car seat, and lounge/bassinet configurations in one purchase.
The frame is a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum build finished in OEKO-TEX certified melange fabrics. The car seat uses a deep cradle design with durable cushioning and an adjustable headrest with multiple height positions, and it supports off-base installation with European belt routing for travel. The whole system folds into a compact 3D fold designed to fit in small car trunks, and the car seat docks directly into the vehicle base and rotates into position.
The system can convert to a double stroller with the separately attached Helix+ accessory. It meets ASTM F2050 and F833 safety standards and is Prop 65 and CPSIA compliant.

The G5 Stroller is compatible with the Orbit Baby Infant and Toddler Car Seat. With the Orbit Baby Infant and Car Seat Stroller Adapter you can adapt its stroller with the following car seat brands: Maxi-Cosi®, Cybex®, and Nuna®.
Can the G5 Bassinet be used for sleep?
Yes, on its rocker base with the anti-rock arms engaged, the G5 Bassinet is suitable for overnight sleep and can be used beside your bed. Use it from birth until your baby can roll over or push up on hands and knees, about 5 to 6 months, or 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes first.

Once you go Orbit Baby, I am not sure you will want to go back. We love all our Orbit baby items. The stroller, bassinet, and car seat. I will be loading our child into our car and people will watch us, and have said “wow that was quick” - it truly is easy. it’s beautiful, sleek, 360 capabilities is amazing. I asked ChatGP to find me a stroller/car seat system with all the wants/desires i envisioned and the only company to met those requirements was Orbit Baby! All too lux brands were evaluated in comparison, Orbit was the triumph. HOWEVER, we are really looking forward to the day that the car seat does not require a hand on both sides to unlock and remove, it makes for an awkward moment when transitioning from side locks to top handle to continue carrying the child. Transition to stoller is easy but transition to a 1 hand carry of the top handle is a slight challenge BUT worth it because these travel systems are fantastic. We purchased an extra base for our parents car!
