Liberty Assembled Nightstand

If you’re considering ordering nursery furniture from Namesake Home, don’t. I ordered the Alouette crib and matching Alouette dresser in washed pine back in early May. The photos online were gorgeous, and since this is my first baby, I’ve been renovating the entire nursery — new flooring, trim, door, paint, wallpaper, even new windows. I didn’t care about the price tag; I wanted a beautiful, cohesive set for my newborn. The crib arrived first and looked great once assembled. That’s where the good news ends. First dresser arrives — damaged The dresser showed up with a cracked top straight out of the box. I contacted the company immediately. It took over a week for them to even respond and schedule a pickup. They also refused to send a replacement until the damaged one was returned, which dragged the process out even longer. Nightstand arrives — also damaged Trying to stay optimistic, I ordered the Liberty nightstand in washed pine to complete the set. It arrived even more damaged than the dresser. At that point, I requested a refund because this was now two pieces of broken furniture from the same company. Baby born — still no dresser My baby arrived, and I still had no dresser, just a changing topper sitting on the floor with nothing to attach it to. Replacement dresser arrives — unbelievably damaged When the replacement dresser finally showed up, it was even more damaged than the first one. Splits, cracks, structural issues — completely unacceptable for brand-new nursery furniture. Refund delays + mismatched topper problem The damaged nightstand was picked up over a week ago, and I still haven’t received my refund. Now I’m stuck with a changing table topper in washed pine that will be nearly impossible to match with a different brand’s dresser. Overall experience I’m a first-time mom dealing with the stress of a newborn, and instead of enjoying the nursery I worked so hard on, I’m dealing with multiple damaged deliveries, slow customer service, no dresser, no refund, and a mismatched nursery. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on damaged furniture, endless delays, and zero accountability, do not buy from Namesake Home. I’m so disappointed that I’m now considering having them take back the crib too. I am extremely dissatisfied, and I 100% do not recommend this company to anyone.
