Cuna plegable portátil Maki con kit de conversión a cama para niños pequeños

The frame and spindles are named as 100% sustainably sourced solid New Zealand pine, with the mattress support disclosed separately as TSCA-compliant engineered wood — a solid-wood claim for the main structure with the engineered component named rather than hidden.

The crib is finished in a non-toxic, multi-step painting and staining process that is lead and phthalate safe, but does not name the finish as water-based or specify VOC content for this model; brand-wide digest material elsewhere describes a water-based finish for cribs generally.

Babyletto names ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219 as the governing standards for its full-size cribs and states that products are sent to a third-party CPSC-certified lab for testing. This crib's own listing states it exceeds ASTM International and U.S. CPSC standards.

We found one CPSC recall on record for this brand, covering the Kiwi Electronic Recliner glider for a USB overheating issue — a different product category than this folding crib. The brand ran the recall proactively with CPSC and offered a free repair kit. Nothing is filed against Babyletto cribs.

Babyletto names ASTM F1169 as the standard for its full-size cribs, with slats withstanding at least 135 lbs against an 80 lb minimum and maximum slat gap of 2 3/8", and the Maki's own spec sheet confirms a 135 lb slat strength rating.

The Maki is named GREENGUARD Gold and FSC Certified, and the GREENGUARD Gold claim for Babyletto cribs has been independently tested by BabyGearLab on a sibling model. Neither certificate number is published, but both are asserted for the finished crib.

The Maki's own listing states it has been tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs and carries GREENGUARD Gold certification; a retailer support page and an independent lab review both confirm Babyletto cribs achieve this certification on the finished product.

The frame and spindles are stated to be 100% FSC-certified solid New Zealand pine sourced from well-managed, FSC-certified forests, though no licence code is published for verification.

The product discloses country of manufacture (Vietnam), full dimensions, and a spare-parts/repair route for nursery furniture after purchase; the brand's warranty page separately commits to a 1-year repair-or-replace guarantee against manufacturing defects.

The frame and spindles are named as 100% New Zealand pine and the mattress support as TSCA-compliant engineered wood, but the finish chemistry, adhesive system, and any additional components are not broken out layer-by-layer for this specific model.
