CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

90 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Tableware Material Safety 91

The utensils are explicitly named as food-safe silicone and nylon construction, not melamine or bamboo-composite, avoiding the formaldehyde-release risk documented for bamboo-composite tableware.

This represents 20% of the total score.

Decoration & Coating Risk 87

The silicone and nylon are stated free of lead and cadmium, which speaks to the material itself, but the utensils carry no printed decal or coating, so no decoration-specific lead testing is published for this item.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Food-Contact Material Safety 91

The food-contact parts are named as silicone and nylon and stated free of BPA, BPF and BPS, going beyond a bare BPA-free claim to cover both major bisphenol substitutes.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Dishwasher Guidance 91

Care guidance explicitly warns against boiling, sanitizing or microwaving the utensils rather than marketing microwave convenience, and this instruction is repeated across regional storefronts.

This represents 15% of the total score.

Heat & Wear Behavior 87

The utensils carry an explicit sterilization restriction rather than an indefinite-life implication, but no shedding or migration testing at use temperature is published, and reviewers report warping when the no-microwave guidance is not followed.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Recall History 93

We queried the CPSC recall database covering 1973-2026 and found no recall filed against this brand in any role; a control search confirms the corpus does cover comparable feeding-product classes, so the clean result reflects genuine absence.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Certification Credibility 92

The utensils are third-party quality tested, FDA approved and CPSC certified for the finished product, a claim independently repeated by multiple retailers without their own verification work.

This represents 8% of the total score.

Transparency & Support 84

The nylon head and silicone handle are named, but country of manufacture, formal warranty terms and a spare-parts route for the utensils themselves are not published; only a general email contact and a straw replacement pack for cups is offered.

This represents 7% of the total score.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Reviewers frequently describe the set as durable and easy to clean, holding up well through repeated use.
Customers commonly note the utensils suit babies and toddlers from around 5-6 months through the toddler years, describing the size as right for small hands.
Some reviewers are frustrated that the fork tines are not sharp or pointed enough to pierce food effectively.
One reviewer reports the utensils warped after being microwaved in a sterilizing bag, cautioning others not to microwave them.

We loved EZPZ products and now look for them first on other people's registries! My cousin had the Mini Utensils listed, so we had to get them!

These are the perfect size to fit into our little one’s hands! He can easily grip these utensils and is loving that he is feeling like a big boy!
Courtney N.
Our daughter started with the mini utensils for her first spork and spoon set and we loved them. So we thought what a perfect 1st birthday gift for our twin nephews. Meal time is so much fun as they navigate these weighted utensils in their tiny hands.
Caroline E.
This has plastic! The part that touches your child’s mouth is made of PLASTIC. Do not buy if you are trying to be plastic free. I paid a premium for this thinking I was giving my child high quality silicone utensils —- until I realized the part that really should be food grade silicone is plastic
Emily
The tips here the baby eats from are plastic. I was very disappointed to discover this because I feel like they were advertised as fully silicone. My utensils are already stained.
