Conjunto orgánico de polo y pantalón corto

The fibre content is fully specified: 100% organic cotton interlock at 230 GSM with no synthetic content in this set, and the organic status is attached to a named certifying body — IDFL Laboratory and Institute — under GOTS licence IDFL 010673. Provenance is stated too: the cotton is grown and harvested in India and the garments are manufactured there, designed in Florida, and the range is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. The individual farm or spinning mill is not named.

Construction detail is the one gap in an otherwise detailed listing: the set is tagless for skin comfort and its fabric weight and care are fully specified, but nothing is published about the polo's button attachment strength, seam finishing, or whether the garment has been through a small-parts pull test.

The dyes on this set are azo-free, water-based and non-toxic, the garment is a 100% cotton base rather than a vivid synthetic, and GOTS processing prohibits bleach, formaldehyde and toxic dyes across the chain, with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 screening also claimed for these products. The same azo-free, eco-friendly dye approach is reported independently.

GOTS is claimed for the finished garment rather than the fibre alone: the brand holds GOTS licence IDFL 010673 through IDFL Laboratory and Institute, the products and facility are certified organic, every product carries the organic certification label, and this set is made at a GOTS-certified factory in India. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is claimed for the products as well.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — for Makemake Organics as a whole name across titles, descriptions and manufacturer, importer and retailer fields, and found no record in any role at any date. A control check in the same corpus returned 1,470 toy, 332 crib and 182 stroller records, so children's product classes are covered and the zero result reflects a clean track record rather than a gap in the register.

Makemake Organics is a GOTS-licensed brand under licence number IDFL 010673, certified by IDFL Laboratory and Institute, with both the products and the facility covered, and this set is made at a GOTS-certified factory in India. Fair Trade and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 are also claimed for the products, and the brand's own summary of GOTS as requiring 70% organic fibre sits below the 95% threshold the standard's 'organic' grade actually requires.

This set is declared free of PFAS, formaldehyde, flame retardants, phthalates and AZO dyes, and nothing in the marketing or care copy offers easy-care, wrinkle-resistant, non-iron, stain-resistant or water-repellent performance — the care guide asks for a gentle wash, no bleach and a cool iron. The no-flame-retardant position is deliberate enough that the brand declines to classify its 100% organic cotton pieces as sleepwear, and the same freedom from flame retardants, PFAS and azo dyes is reported independently.

Care guidance for this set is detailed and consistent — machine wash on a gentle cycle, do not bleach, iron on cool, tumble dry on low and remove promptly, with mild plant-based detergent and wool dryer balls suggested instead of softeners. The missing element is the pre-wash step: nothing tells a buyer to wash the set before first wear to clear sizing and residues.

The set's fabric is 100% organic cotton interlock at a 230 GSM weight, designed in Florida and manufactured in India. The factory or supplier behind the garment is not named.

The set carries no raised plastisol print, and the dyes are azo-free, water-based and non-toxic; the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification held for these garments screens every thread, button and accessory for harmful substances. The caveat is that the disclosure stops short of the hardware itself: the polo's buttons are not described by material, and no nickel-free or lead-free statement is published for them.
