Mameluco orgánico corto abullonado

The base is organic cotton rather than a synthetic, with organic status named to a certifying body — GOTS through IDFL Laboratory and Institute under licence IDFL 010673 — and the cotton is grown, harvested and sewn in India while design happens in Florida. Fabric content is printed in the product details of every style, and the closest sibling romper is 97% cotton with 3% spandex for stretch, while independent coverage of this short bubble romper calls it 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, so the exact spandex share for this style is not settled.

Construction detail on this romper family runs to a two-way YKK zipper with a diaper gusset, a tagless neck and a substantial 310 GSM ribbed fabric, and the zipper closure avoids the detachable snaps and neck ties that cause trouble on infant garments. Fastener retention, seam construction and small-parts performance after use-and-abuse are not addressed, and no test method or result is given for attachment security.

The dyes are AZO-free and non-toxic, prints are water-based, and the base cloth is organic cotton rather than a synthetic carrying disperse dyes, so the vivid-print-on-synthetic risk does not apply here. GOTS processing prohibits bleach, formaldehyde and toxic dyestuffs across the chain, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers the products, and independent coverage of the brand repeats the AZO-free dye position. No azo-amine screening result is published.

This goes beyond a fibre-only "made with organic cotton" line: the romper is certified organic under GOTS licence IDFL 010673 through IDFL Laboratory and Institute, every product carries the Organic Certification label, and independent coverage treats this short bubble romper as 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton with OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 across the infant range. The certification is also presented at facility level — the romper is manufactured in a GOTS certified facility — and no garment-level certificate number is published.

We queried the complete CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and Makemake Organics appears nowhere in it, in any role or at any date. Control searches in the same corpus returned hundreds of juvenile-product records, so the clean result reflects the brand's absence rather than a failed query.

Makemake Organics holds GOTS licence number IDFL 010673 through IDFL Laboratory and Institute, an independent third-party organic certifier, and the products and the production facility are both certified organic, with every product carrying the Organic Certification label. Fair Trade and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 are named for the products as well, and independent coverage of the brand repeats the GOTS and OEKO-TEX certifications across the newborn and infant range. A product-level certificate naming this romper is not published, and the OEKO-TEX claim carries no product class or licence code.

The romper carries no AZO dyes, flame retardants, PFAS, phthalates or formaldehyde, and the cotton clothing is not treated with toxic flame retardants — which is why these rompers are sold as daywear rather than sleepwear. Nothing here is easy-care, wrinkle-resistant, non-iron or stain-repellent, and the care guidance asks for a cool iron rather than promising wrinkle-free wear; independent coverage of the brand repeats the PFAS-free and flame-retardant-free position. No formaldehyde or PFAS test results are published.

Care guidance for this romper is specific and consistent: machine wash on gentle, do not bleach, iron on cool, tumble dry on low and remove promptly, with mild plant-based detergent and wool dryer balls suggested instead of fabric softener. There is no instruction to wash the garment before first wear, which is the step that clears residual sizing from new cloth.

The garments are designed in Florida and manufactured in India, and fabric content is printed in the product details for every item. The specific factory and fabric supplier are not named, and there is no warranty.

The closure on this romper is a named two-way YKK zipper, the garment is tagless, and colour comes from AZO-free, water-based non-toxic dyes rather than a thick raised plastisol print. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers the products, and independent coverage describes that screening reaching every thread, button and accessory. The disclosure stops short of an explicit nickel-free or lead-free statement for the metal zipper and of any small-parts or heavy-metal test result.
