Mono Orgánico Fruncido

The jumpsuit is 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin with no synthetic content, the stretch coming from the smocked bodice rather than an elastane blend. Organic status is tied to a named certifier, IDFL Laboratory and Institute, the cotton is grown and the garment sewn in India, and independent coverage repeats the 100% GOTS organic cotton and India-manufacture account.

The jumpsuit is an easy pull-on style with a smocked bodice for stretch, so there are no snaps, buttons or neck ties to detach, and no appliquéd or glued-on decorative elements.

The dyes on this jumpsuit are azo-free and water-based, the base fabric is organic cotton rather than a synthetic that would need disperse dyes, and GOTS processing prohibits toxic dye chemistry across the supply chain. Independent coverage repeats the azo-free dye account.

GOTS covers this garment, not just its fibre: the jumpsuit is 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin sewn in a GOTS certified factory in India, it carries an IDFL number of its own, and the brand holds GOTS licence IDFL 010673 through IDFL Laboratory and Institute. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 is also named among the certifications the products carry.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records from June 1973 to August 2026 — and Makemake Organics appears nowhere in it, in any role, at any date. Control counts in the same corpus confirm children's product classes are covered, so the clean result reflects the brand's absence rather than a failed search.

Makemake Organics is a GOTS licensed brand under licence number IDFL 010673, certified by IDFL Laboratory and Institute, and this jumpsuit is 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin made in a GOTS certified factory in India, carrying its own IDFL number. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and Fair Trade are also named, and independent coverage repeats the GOTS and OEKO-TEX claims without touching the certificates themselves.

The jumpsuit is free of PFAS, formaldehyde, phthalates, AZO dyes and flame retardants, and nothing about it is sold as easy-care, wrinkle-resistant, non-iron or stain-repellent — the care guidance asks for a cool iron, which is the opposite posture. Independent coverage repeats the PFAS-free and flame-retardant-free account.

Care guidance for this jumpsuit is specific and consistent: machine wash on gentle, do not bleach, iron on cool, tumble dry on low and remove promptly, with mild plant-based detergent and wool dryer balls suggested instead of fabric softener. There is no instruction to wash the garment before first wear, which is the one thing missing from an otherwise complete care guide.

The fabric is 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin, and the garment is designed in Florida and manufactured in India. Independent coverage repeats the same origin and materials account. The specific manufacturing partner is not named.

This is an easy pull-on smocked jumpsuit with no snaps, buttons or zips, and the colour comes from azo-free, water-based dyes rather than a raised plastisol print. The disclosure stops short of the rest: there is no nickel-free or lead-free statement for any trim.
