Cuna convertible 3 en 1 Peggy con kit de conversión para cama de niño pequeño

The Peggy's frame and spindles are solid New Zealand pine, but the end panels are acacia veneered engineered wood described only as TSCA compliant, not tied to a CARB Phase 2 certificate for the finished crib. The brand separately states any MDF used across its furniture line is CARB II compliant.

The Peggy is finished in a non-toxic, multi-step painting and staining process stated to be lead and phthalate safe, though the Peggy's own page does not explicitly call the finish water-based; a third-party source independently describes Babyletto's finish as water-based.

The Peggy is built to ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219 for full-size cribs, with slats tested to withstand 135 lbs against an 80 lbs minimum, and products are sent to a third-party CPSC-certified lab for compliance testing.

We queried the CPSC recall register and found one open Babyletto recall, covering the Kiwi Electronic Recliner glider — a different product line entirely, not this crib or any crib. Nothing in that record touches the Peggy crib line, which has no recall history of its own.

The Peggy's slats are spaced 2 1/8 inches apart and each withstands 135 lbs of pressure, well above the 80 lbs minimum, and it is built to ASTM F1169 for full-size cribs with no drop-side design.

The Peggy's own listing claims GREENGUARD Gold certification (tested for over 10,000 chemicals) and FSC certification for the finished crib, with no licence number shown. An independent lab verified this same emissions certification on a sibling Babyletto crib, but not on the Peggy itself.

An independent lab tested a sibling Babyletto crib's frame and confirmed emissions passing over 10,000 chemical screens for GREENGUARD Gold certification. The Peggy's own listing states it carries the same GREENGUARD Gold certification for indoor air quality.

The Peggy is named FSC Certified on its own listing and is made of sustainably sourced New Zealand pine, though no licence code is published for lookup.

The Peggy's country of origin is named as Vietnam on its own listing, alongside concrete warranty terms — one year against manufacturing defects — and a published spare-parts and repair route. No certificate, audit or independent artifact accompanies these disclosures.

The Peggy's frame is solid New Zealand pine, but the end panels are acacia veneered TSCA-compliant engineered wood — a component-level disclosure, though the adhesive system used in that engineered panel and any fire barrier are not detailed on the Peggy's own listing.
