Raoul de arrastre

The brand ties Raoul's pulling mechanism to toddlers 'learning to pull,' and a retailer repeats that pulling the toy develops gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The claim is specific to the mechanism but rests on assertion with no supporting study or method.

Raoul's wheeled wooden base and pull cord are a mechanism, but nothing is published about wheel-axle clearance, cord-end finishing, or pinch points for this toy, and no reviews report detached parts or pinched fingers.

No CPC, ASTM F963, or CPSIA testing claim is published for Raoul specifically; a retailer only asserts unnamed 'rigorous' safety testing. Egmont is an identifiable, retail-distributed manufacturer, so this non-publication is ordinary, not a sign of non-compliance.

Raoul is graded 12 months and up, and an independent retailer listing for the same pull-along line repeats the identical 12-month recommendation, giving consistent age grading across sources.

Raoul is built on a solid beech wood base 'built to outlast childhood,' and reviews call the quality good, but no test method or long-term wear report backs the durability claim.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database (10,039 records, 1973-2026) for this brand and found no recall at any date, in any role. A control search confirmed the registry covers toys, strollers and cribs, so the clean result reflects the brand's record rather than a gap in the search.

A retailer listing asserts Raoul passes 'rigorous European and US Safety test' without naming a standard, a lab, or a certificate number, and no specific standard is named for this product either.

Raoul is solid beech wood while a retailer's own product data lists the material as polyester, and neither source gives country of manufacture or warranty terms for this toy specifically.
