La chaqueta vaquera para niños

The jacket is 100% organic cotton denim, made in India by a named GOTS-certified partner, Vetrivel Tex in Tirupur, with the GOTS license number stated directly on the product.

We found a button detaching straight out of the package and a seam tearing after one wear on a different denim piece from this brand, not this jacket. No fastener or seam complaints appear against the jacket itself, and we found no recall history for the brand.

The co-founder's claim that every dye in the finished garment is OEKO-TEX certified is made about the brand's garments broadly, while the specific ZDHC dye protocol named in our research is explicitly scoped to knitwear rather than this denim jacket.

The GOTS licence and OEKO-TEX number published for this jacket belong to its maker's facility, Vetrivel Tex, not to the jacket itself, and that OEKO-TEX certificate has since expired.

We queried the complete CPSC recall registry (10,047 records, 1973-2026) for this brand and found no recall of any kind, in any role. The query's coverage was confirmed against known product classes like strollers and toys, so the clean result is a reliable one.

This jacket's maker, Vetrivel Tex in Tirupur, India, holds a GOTS licence that is current in the GOTS public database, but the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate given for the same maker, 23.HIN.75354, shows as expired in OEKO-TEX's label check and is still presented as current.

The jacket's composition, origin and certifications are disclosed in detail, but nothing is said about wrinkle-resistant, easy-care or stain/water-repellent finishes.

General cold-wash, lay-flat-to-dry care guidance is published along with a dedicated cotton denim care section, but no specific instruction to pre-wash this jacket before first wear is given.

The Simple Folk names the factory behind its garments, with that factory's GOTS licence number, and publishes a traceability page that follows the cotton back to named farms and notes where certification is still in progress. Some garments give a country of manufacture that conflicts with the factory named for them, and no warranty or repair route is published.

The wooden buttons are named on this jacket's own page, but the OEKO-TEX claim covering 'every button and dye' as toxin-free comes from a co-founder statement about the brand's garments generally rather than this specific jacket.
