The Waistband Extender adds length to a Tushbaby hip carrier's waistband, giving a total of up to 70 inches around the waist. It attaches to a Tushbaby hip seat carrier, which is sold separately, and is fully adjustable for a customized, secure fit.
The extender is offered in different materials depending on the option chosen, and each has its own care needs. A polyurethane version wipes clean with a damp cloth and should not be machine washed. A polyester-acrylic blend version should be wiped clean and then spot cleaned or dry cleaned only, also never machine washed. A 100% polyester version can be wiped down or machine washed on a cold, gentle cycle after the Velcro is fastened, then air dried flat rather than put in the dryer. It carries a 90-day warranty covering manufacturer defects, for orders placed and delivered in the U.S.

Saves your back puts baby s weight evenly distributed, gives your baby instant seat - to allow them to sit high above a crowd to view a kids show or story time . I looked at others decided in Tush baby has option to remove their hands free snuggle wrap from under seat and then has enough room to carry all baby essentials for few hours out ie 2 diapers. Bibs, bottle , change of one piece outfit and even their optional changing pad if purchased fits conveniently on the belt . Would definitely recommend . Ps . I would get the belt extension even if you fit with out for when your are wearing winter outwear .

I purchased the pink velvet Tush baby for my trip to Florida to help out. Although it has been somewhat helpful, it gets extremely hot (they were out of the grey regular material). The position on my waist put pressure on my hips the made walking with a 15 pound baby a little painful. First of all, the Waistband Extender was not available in the color for the Hip Carrier I have (Chambray), so I bought the color I thought would be the closest. Then, when I received it, I tried putting it on, but the buckles are NOT the same size at all. The extender's buckles are too small, making it absolutely useless.
