Wooden Tray Puzzle - Count to 10 Ladybugs

This puzzle is labeled for ages 4+ with ten ladybug pieces sized for small hands, and the pieces are appropriately sized though intricate for very young toddlers; a 2021 recall on this brand's wooden tray puzzles (different animal designs) found pieces could break and pose a choking risk.

The pieces are made of natural rubberwood finished with a water-based nontoxic stain or varnish, but no lead-paint testing result or third-party verification is published for this finish.

Reviewers confirm the pieces fit their tray cutouts nicely without being too tight for small hands and describe the puzzle as good quality material expected to last for years of use.

The brand asserts CPSIA compliance and testing for phthalates, lead and soluble metals across its products, but does not name ASTM F963 specifically or point to a testing lab or CPC for this puzzle.

The puzzle is labeled Ages 4+ consistently, with no small-parts warning published beside that age grade.

Two Wee Gallery recalls are on record, both voluntary with no injuries reported: CPSC 21-188 (2021) recalled the first-edition Ocean and Safari wooden tray puzzles sold February 2020 to June 2021, whose octopus and elephant pieces could break off, and CPSC 24-368 (2024) recalled the Tummy Time Gallery trifold, SKU wg8051, for phthalates in its clear plastic card pockets. Neither covers this counting puzzle.

This puzzle line is CPSIA compliant and certified to US and UKCA safety standards and tested for phthalates, lead and soluble metals, but no lab, certificate number or test method is named for the finished puzzle.

The material (natural rubberwood) and country of manufacture (Thailand) are disclosed and a wood-care page is available, but no warranty terms or spare-parts/repair route are published for this puzzle.
