Cómoda doble Caravan de 6 cajones

The dresser's own listing claims it meets U.S., Canadian, Australian, and European safety standards without naming 16 CFR 1261, the STURDY Act, or ASTM F2057, and no stability test method or result is published for this unit.

The Filtery reports that Kalon's dressers are finished with an oil/wax carrying SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification for low emissions, and Kalon describes the finish as free of off-gassing and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. That certification covers the finish rather than the finished double dresser, and no certificate number or emissions test of the assembled unit is published.

Nothing on the dresser's page or specifications mentions a wall anchor, restraint hardware included in the carton, or mounting instructions for drywall, plaster or stud walls.

Kalon's record holds one recall, Health Canada's 2023 notice on the Caravan Crib, remedied with a replacement offer and with no injuries reported; it does not cover this product, and the U.S. CPSC registry returns no entry for the brand.

Two certifications are named around the double dresser: SCS Indoor Advantage Gold for its oil/wax finish, reported by The Filtery, and FSC, which Kalon claims for the manufacturers it works with. Both cover a material or a supplier rather than the finished unit, and no certificate number, lab or stability standard is published for the double dresser itself.

The drawers run on soft-close slides, and the solid wood drawer boxes are built for partial extension for safety, which limits how far a drawer pulls out. No pull-out distance, drawer-stop test or finger-pinch detail is published.

The double dresser is made in Pennsylvania from domestic hardwoods named by species, and Kalon publishes a one-year dresser warranty with repair-or-replace terms at the brand's cost and a claims route; no independent audit or artifact accompanies these disclosures.

Kalon lists the double dresser's components: solid Maple, White Oak or Black Walnut, solid wood drawer boxes, hardwood-faced plywood drawer bases, soft-close slides and an organic oil/wax finish. The adhesive used in the plywood and the joinery is not named.
