Cómoda Sprout de 6 cajones (48")

The Sprout dresser is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs, and its MDF components meet CARB Phase 2 with formaldehyde levels undetectable across its furniture line.

This dresser exceeds CPSC's ASTM F2057-23 tip-over stability standard, with drawer extensions constructed in accordance with the regulation, though no independent lab report is published for this model.

An anti-tip kit ships in the box for additional security, and the brand recommends installing it for added stability across its dressers; drawer stop mechanisms prevent full drawer withdrawal as a further safeguard.

We queried the recall record and found one open CPSC recall on the Kiwi Electronic Recliner Glider for a USB overheating hazard — a different product line (gliders, not dressers) handled through repair kits. No recall covers this dresser or the Sprout line, and the brand runs ongoing third-party lab testing with quarterly retesting of full-size crib models.

This dresser is named as GREENGUARD Gold and FSC Certified, and independent retailer listings repeat the GREENGUARD Gold claim for other specific Babyletto dresser SKUs, without a published certificate number.

This dresser is marketed as convertible to a changing station with an add-on tray, so barrier height, restraint and weight limit should be specified. We find a weight limit stated for a sibling dresser's tray, but no barrier height, restraint, or weight limit published for this changing tray.

Pre-installed ball-bearing glides and stop mechanisms prevent drawers from being pulled all the way out, and reviewers of this exact dresser confirm drawers only open partway, consistent with the stop mechanism design.

The country of manufacture (Vietnam) is stated directly on the product, and an independent reviewer reports that when they emailed the brand's support with questions about specific finish compounds, the brand responded with actual documentation rather than boilerplate. The brand also publishes a 1-year repair/replacement warranty and sells touch-up pens and hardware kits for repairs.

This dresser uses New Zealand pine for the base and TSCA-compliant engineered wood for drawer fronts and frame, but no adhesive, finish composition, or hardware-metals testing is published for this specific unit.
