Características clave

Certificaciones

    • OEKO-TEX Certified

    Certified by OEKO-TEX (Standard 100)

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifies that every component of a textile item has been lab-tested and found free of harmful substances above set limits.

    What it checks

    • Testing of yarn, fabric, buttons, and other accessories against a list of over 1,000 regulated substances
    • Stricter chemical limits for products with more intensive skin contact, including a dedicated infant/toddler product class
    • Compliance with chemical regulations such as REACH, CPSIA, and the ECHA-SVHC candidate list
    • Annual review of substance limit values and one-year validity per certificate

What it does not cover It tests for chemical residues only and does not certify general product safety features like choking hazards, flammability, or mechanical construction.

This certification is held by the brand or manufacturer, not by Birch. We show it because the brand states it for this product. Summarised from the certifying body's own page.

CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

83 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Emissions & Off-Gassing 77

No VOC, formaldehyde, or GREENGUARD-type emissions testing is named for this cotton coverlet set, and no off-gassing or airing guidance is published for it anywhere.

Soft Bedding Safety Guidance 77

This coverlet and sham set is marketed for kids' bedrooms and styled as bedding kids climb into, with no age note, no not-for-infant-sleep-space caution, and no statement of intended use beyond general children's bedding.

Fill & Fiber Disclosure 83

The face fabric is named as 100% cotton waffle knit, but no fill or batting layer, backing fabric, or percentage breakdown for the sham is published, and no test method or result accompanies the fiber claim.

Recall History 97

We queried the CPSC recall database covering over 10,000 records from 1973 to 2026 and found no recall filed against this brand in any role. The search corpus demonstrably covers comparable product classes like cribs and strollers, confirming the clean result is meaningful.

Textile Certification 90

The set is named OEKO-TEX certified for the 100% cotton fabric, but no certificate number, certifying body detail, or product class is published alongside the claim.

Certification Credibility 92

The coverlet set is named as OEKO-TEX certified 100% cotton directly on the product listing, a specific finished-product certification claim with no licence number published.

Transparency & Support 77

No country of manufacture, warranty terms, or repair/spare-parts route are published for this coverlet set, and nothing adjacent on materials or sourcing fills that gap either.

Finish & Treatment Chemistry 87

The fabric is sold as OEKO-TEX certified 100% cotton, a label that screens finished textiles for harmful substances including formaldehyde, but the certification is claimed for the fabric rather than the finished set and no certificate number is given.

Material Disclosure Depth 84

The coverlet is 100% cotton with a waffle knit construction, but no fiber source, weave weight, batting, or backing detail is given beyond the single fiber-content line.

Wash Durability & Shrinkage 84

Care instructions are published as machine wash cold and tumble dry low, but no shrinkage expectation is given, and reviews describing the coverlet as thin add no durability data after repeated washing.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

It’s thin for a waffle knot but it’s cute, more like decoration.

This waffle knit coverlet set is amazing quality! Took my breath away opening the package when it arrived! So pretty and so soft and only gets better with each wash 100% recommend i have no complaints!
Kyla D.
This waffle knit coverlet set is absolutely darling. The scalloped edges are such a sweet detail—they make it feel a little extra special without being over the top. It has that perfect mix of cozy and elevated that instantly makes a bed look more styled. I also love how lightweight it is. It’s perfect for layering or using on its own when you don’t want anything too heavy, which makes it super versatile year-round. And for the quality and design, the price point is seriously so good. Honestly, I bought it for my daughter, but now I want one for my own bed too!
