Cuna convertible 4 en 1 Palma con kit de conversión para cama infantil

The Palma's frame is solid New Zealand pine, but its feature headboard is made from TSCA-compliant engineered wood rather than solid wood, and where MDF is used it uses only CARB II compliant materials without naming the adhesive system itself.

The Palma is finished in a non-toxic, multi-step painting and staining process that is lead- and phthalate-safe, exceeding ASTM and CPSC standards, and a third-party source separately describes Babyletto's finish as water-based. The Palma's own page does not itself name the finish as water-based.

The applicable full-size crib standards are named — ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219 — with slat spacing and a 135 lb slat-strength figure exceeding the 80 lb minimum, and third-party CPSC-certified lab testing for ASTM compliance is stated. No certificate number for this specific model is published.

We checked the CPSC registry and found one open Babyletto recall, covering the Kiwi Electronic Recliner Glider (an overheating USB port) — a different product line entirely from this crib. That record does not cover the Palma, and the brand otherwise publishes a dedicated safety commitment page.

Slat spacing and strength are specified — a maximum 2 3/8" gap and slats rated to withstand 135 lbs, well above the 80 lb minimum — built to ASTM F1169 and 16 CFR 1219. No drop-side design is present and no hardware-loosening pattern appears in this crib's own review corpus.

An independent lab tested a sibling Babyletto crib and verified its GREENGUARD Gold emissions claim directly rather than just repeating it, and the Palma itself carries the same certification and the JPMA/ASTM claims are named on other models. No certificate number is published for the Palma itself.

The Palma is GREENGUARD Gold certified, tested for over 10,000 chemicals, for indoor air quality. An independent lab reviewed a sibling crib sharing the same New Zealand pine construction and confirmed the emissions testing behind that same certification scored above average for eco-health.

The Palma is FSC certified and built from sustainably sourced solid New Zealand pine wood, with the sourcing region named directly. No FSC licence code is published for verification.

The Palma's country of origin is named as Vietnam on its own page, alongside concrete warranty terms — one year against manufacturing defects — and a replacement-parts programme available after purchase. No certificate, audit or independent artifact accompanies these disclosures.

The frame is built from solid New Zealand pine wood, while the feature headboard uses TSCA-compliant engineered wood, and formaldehyde levels test undetectable across its furniture. The specific breakdown between solid and engineered components is not itemized per part.
