Bamboo Blend Convertible Coverall

The fabric is given only as a proprietary bamboo and organic cotton blend, with no fibre percentages anywhere and no certifying body attached to the organic cotton in this garment. Bamboo fibre is regenerated into viscose, rayon or lyocell before it can be woven, so “bamboo blend, eco-friendly” leaves both the actual fibre identity and the organic share of a fabric worn against skin all day unstated.

The closure is specified for this garment: a double zipper with a top snap that keeps the zipper secured, plus ribbed and foldover cuffs at wrists and ankles. There are no cords or neck ties and no detachable decorative appliqués. Snap and zipper retention testing and seam construction are not addressed.

The OEKO-TEX screening on this coverall covers the print only — the printing is independently tested to be free from harmful chemicals — and nothing is published about the dyeing of the bamboo-and-cotton base fabric it sits on. The low-impact, azo-free dye statement Apple Park makes belongs to its GOTS certified organic cotton fabrics, which is not the fabric of this garment.

This coverall carries no certification on the finished garment: organic cotton appears as a fibre attribute of the blend rather than as a certified textile, the GOTS certification Apple Park holds is named for its plush items, and the OEKO-TEX reference covers the print. No certifying body, no certificate number and no infant product class are published for the garment.

We queried the full CPSC recall corpus — 9,944 records spanning June 1973 to August 2026 — and found one entry for Apple Park: a 2013 recall of children's loungewear for violating the federal flammability standard. Nothing has been filed in the thirteen years since, and nothing in the layette or romper category this garment belongs to.

The only certification attached to this coverall covers the printing: the print is OEKO-TEX tested to be free from harmful chemicals. GOTS certified organic cotton is named for the plush toy line rather than for this garment, and no product class or licence number accompanies the print claim.

Nothing about this coverall is marketed as easy-care, wrinkle-resistant, non-iron, stain-resistant or water-repellent, and the care routine is an ordinary cold delicate wash with cool ironing permitted. Apple Park uses no flame-retardant materials, but no declaration is published either way about wrinkle-resistant or water- and stain-repellent finishes on this garment, and no formaldehyde or PFAS results accompany it.

Care guidance for this coverall is published and matches Apple Park's layette instructions: machine wash cold on a delicate cycle, tumble dry low, cool iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean. There is no instruction to wash the garment before first wear, which is the step that removes residual sizing and processing finishes.
