Art Cards for Baby

The cards are made of sturdy cardboard with rounded corners and a wipeable matte finish, a specific, falsifiable build claim for this product. Independent reviewers of the brand's other card-based products describe them as sturdy enough for repeated handling and travel.

The cards aid cognitive and visual perception through high-contrast imagery, a real design feature, but backs this with vague framing like '20 years of research' and unnamed pediatrician endorsement rather than a specific study or mechanism.

The brand names CPSIA compliance and named testing generally for its product range.

This card set states no age grading itself, but a retailer listing names it for 0-6 months. No small-parts warning appears on either page, and no independent source cross-checks that age fit for this specific card set.

We queried the CPSC recall database directly and found two recalls: a 2021 wooden tray puzzle choking hazard and a 2024 phthalates violation in the Tummy Time Gallery panel, both voluntary/fast-track and both remedied with no injuries reported. Neither covers this art card product line.

The Art Cards are made from FSC certified paper and paperboard and printed with soy-based inks, a named, finished-product-scoped certification for this exact card format.

The card material (FSC paperboard, soy-based ink) and finish are disclosed, but the country of manufacture for this specific card line is not published.
