The Baby-Led Tiny Spoon is a training spoon made for babies starting solids around 6 months and up, whether feeding purees or practicing baby-led weaning. The narrow spoon bowl is sized to fit a baby's mouth, and the slight arc allows for dipping and scooping. A short, fat, round handle with a non-slip grip helps a baby hold and maneuver the spoon on their own.

It is made of 100% food grade silicone that is third-party quality tested and free of BPA, BPS, PVC and phthalates. It is hypoallergenic and built to last, as the silicone will not wear or fade over time. The spoon is dishwasher safe; it should not be boiled, sanitized, or microwaved.

Sensory bumps on the spoon bowl are meant to activate sensory awareness and decrease gagging and choking, while bumps on the underside of the spoon help stabilize it when set down.

The size is good but they are too slippery once any food or saliva gets on the handle. My baby has to grab the spoon near the food portion to get any kind of grasp on it. We were disappointed with these but haven’t rushed to buy different ones.

Good quality and price. However my baby (from about 7-11 month old)'s hand slipped all the way down the handle, so he was basically grabbing the head of the spoon in his fist and trying to eat at the same time. If these spoons work for your baby, they are great. For us, the NumNum pre-spoon "Gootensile" worked better for actually learning to eat, and these were better for chewing and playing.
