The suitcase has a large waterproof pocket and an anti-scratch textured shell, but we found no disclosure of what coating chemistry creates that water resistance, nor any PFAS-free statement for the shell, pocket or lining.

We found no flame-retardant-free or PFAS-free declaration for the polycarbonate shell, polypropylene seat or polyester interior lining, and no finish-chemistry testing published for this suitcase.

The interior lining is named as polyester, but no hardware metal, finish, or nickel-release or heavy-metal compliance is stated for the wheel brakes, telescopic handle, zipper lock or spinner wheel hardware.

Exterior dimensions, empty weight, litre capacity and load capacity are all published: 18.1 x 25.7 x 12.9 inches, 13 lbs empty, 77 liters, and a 220 lb seated-rider capacity. A 4-position telescopic handle range is also named.

We found an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification with a resolvable certificate number, but it applies to a baby carrier fabric, not to this suitcase. No certification claim is made for the Check In Plus itself anywhere we found.

The country of manufacture is named (designed in Switzerland, assembled in China) and care is given as spot-clean only, but no recycled-content percentage, no coating-care rationale for the waterproof pocket, and no hardware-care guidance are published.
