Childhome Evolu ONE.80° High Chair

The high chair is named as ASTM F404-21 certified across the manual, retailer and wholesale listings, and a retailer separately states JPMA certification by an independent facility meeting ASTM standards for this model. No Children's Product Certificate or lab report is published.

The tray and other contact surfaces are described only as BPA, lead and phthalate free, with no polymer named and no disclosure of bisphenol replacements like BPS or BPF, and no migration testing mentioned.

A 5-point harness and a safety bumper bar are described across brand and retailer listings, but none state whether the bar includes a fixed passive crotch post rather than only a strap, which the standard requires on tray-equipped chairs.

Care instructions call for a damp cloth only, with no sterilization compatibility and no stated replacement interval for the seat or tray plastics.

We queried the CPSC recall registry directly and found no record for this brand, against a control showing the database covers strollers, cribs and similar categories. The brand's own recall page and an EU Safety Gate notice from France (November 2024) cover its Panier Moïse moses basket, recalled in 2024 because it could tip over; that recall does not cover the Evolu ONE.80° high chair.

The flared legs give the base a wide stance, and a hands-on test of this chair found it sturdy and weighty enough that a child does not topple it. No independent stability testing or method is published.

The finished high chair is named as ASTM F404-21 certified, and a retailer separately states JPMA certification by an independent facility for this same chair. No certificate number or registry link is published for either claim.

Weight limits are stated for each mode — 33 lb as a high chair and 66 lb as a toddler chair usable to age 6 — but no load testing or hardware durability data is published, and food and water collect in the swivel pivot mechanism that requires dismantling to clean.

The brand publishes its 2-year legal warranty terms for purchases from European retailers, with repair or replacement, and ships spare parts when in stock or on restock. Materials disclosure only names the beechwood legs and their German sourcing; the rest of the materials and overall country of manufacture are not published.

Beyond noting the tray is a separate accessory, no wood finish, lacquer, formaldehyde compliance or cushion fabric/foam chemistry is disclosed for the seat body.
