Explorer Kit

The kit's small wooden instruments (compass, sundial, magnifying glass, binoculars) fit a 3+ age grade with no small-parts testing or hinge/pinch detail published for this item specifically, beyond the brand's general safety assertion.

The kit's wooden instruments and hand-sewn case have no review coverage addressing durability, wobble, breakage or missing parts for this specific product in our corpus.

The instruments are named 'Cardboard & Wood' and 'high-quality wood', but no finish, paint, or lead-testing detail is given, and no method or result backs the general safety claim.

The Explorer Kit's page claims it passes 'rigorous European and US Safety test' without naming ASTM F963 or CPSIA, and no Children's Product Certificate or test report is published for this item. Egmont is an identifiable, retail-distributed manufacturer, so non-publication is industry-normal rather than a compliance failure.

The brand recommends the Explorer Kit for ages 3 years and up, but we found no cross-source corroboration of this age grade or small-parts warning for a kit containing small wooden instruments like a compass and magnifying glass.

We queried the full CPSC recall registry across its entire date range, with a control confirming the toy category is covered, and found no record naming this brand in any role. This is a confirmed clean history.

The finished Explorer Kit's own page only says it 'passes rigorous European and US safety tests' without naming a standard. A retailer's EN 71-2/ASTM F963-23 testing claim exists only for a different product, the Musical Tin, not this kit.

The Explorer Kit's page lists only 'Cardboard & Wood' with no country of manufacture, supplier, or warranty terms specific to this item; materials disclosure exists for a different product line (pull-alongs) but not this one.
