G5 Stroller Seat Rain Cover

The rain cover is designed to perfectly fit the Orbit Baby Stroller Seat, and the customer review corpus repeatedly reports it stays put in wind and rain across multiple uses, but no rated load, mount mechanism or independent test is published.

The rain cover is 100% PVC-free and waterproof, which is a specific, falsifiable material claim, but there is no stated PFAS status for the waterproof coating and no test method or standard cited.

The stroller system this cover attaches to carries Baby Safety Alliance (formerly JPMA) certification with annual retesting and meets CPSIA tracking-label requirements, but no compliance statement names the rain cover accessory itself.

We queried the complete CPSC recall database and found no record of Orbit Baby at any date. The brand has two documented recalls in its history — a 2013 voluntary car-seat-base repair kit and a 2017 Transport Canada label/testing correction — both proactive, remedied and in a different product category than this rain cover.

Orbit Baby states fabrics used in its strollers and car seats are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and free from pesticides, toxic dyes and harmful chemicals, but this claim is made at the product-line level for seats and car seats, not specifically for the rain cover's PVC-free PEVA shield.

Orbit Baby names OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing for the fabrics used across its strollers and car seats, and JPMA/Baby Safety Alliance certification with annual retesting, though neither claim is tied specifically to this rain cover or carries a certificate number.

Nothing is published about zipper pulls, toggles or other detachable fasteners on the rain cover, and the review corpus describes only fit and weather performance, not hardware or small parts.

Orbit Baby publishes a concrete 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects, with disclosed exclusions for non-approved accessories and for pre-2019/non-G5 products, and makes accessory manuals available for assembly and use.
