CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

82 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

Changing-Product Compliance 79

As a cover rather than the changing pad itself, this liner is stated to fit the Ubbi foam changing pad and most standard-sized pads, but nothing addresses whether it keeps the pad's restraint or contour usable once fitted.

This represents 14% of the total score.

Core & Fill Chemistry 91

The quilted fill and top layer are named as bamboo terry, a fiber fill rather than polyurethane foam, so the flame-retardant and off-gassing concerns that attach to foam fill do not apply to this liner.

This represents 12% of the total score.

Textile Certification 77

No GOTS or OEKO-TEX certification is named for the bamboo terry fabric used in this liner.

This represents 12% of the total score.

Waterproof Layer Chemistry 83

The liner is waterproof and PVC-free, BPA-free and phthalate-free, but the actual waterproofing polymer is never named and no test method or result backs the free-from claims.

This represents 12% of the total score.

Fragrance, Dye & Lotion Free 77

Nothing published states this liner is free of added fragrance, dye, or lotion - the copy describes softness and absorbency only, with no free-from claim addressing any of these three.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Recall History 92

We queried the complete CPSC recall database covering 1973-2026 and found one recall on record for this brand: a 2019 bath-toy choking hazard, unrelated to changing products. The brand proactively contacted purchasers, with no injuries reported.

This represents 10% of the total score.

Certification Credibility 77

No certification or standard is named anywhere for this changing pad liner - the product copy covers only fabric type and machine-washability, with nothing on chemical or safety certification.

This represents 8% of the total score.

Ingredient Disclosure 84

The liner is disclosed as bamboo terry, a single named material, but there is no layer-by-layer breakdown of the waterproof backing or quilted fill, and no test method or result supports the composition claim.

This represents 8% of the total score.

Skin-Contact Safety Testing 77

No dermatological or skin-contact testing, institute, or hypoallergenic claim is published for this liner beyond a general description of softness against skin.

This represents 7% of the total score.

Transparency & Support 84

The liner's fabric (bamboo terry) and dimensions are published, but country of manufacture, warranty terms, and any spare-parts or repair route for this product are not disclosed anywhere we found.

This represents 7% of the total score.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Reviewers frequently describe the liners as soft, comfortable, and pleasant against a baby's skin during changes.
Customers mention the liners are absorbent and help contain leaks or accidents during changes.
Several reviewers say the liners are easy to wash and hold up well in the washer and dryer without shrinking.
Some customers say the liners are convenient for use in strollers, car seats, and other places away from a changing table.
A recurring complaint is that the liners have nothing to hold them in place on the changing pad, so they can shift when the baby moves.
One reviewer with a smooth plastic changing pad found the liners slip and slide during changes, prompting them to add grippy fabric.

These reusable changing pad liners are sos soft and convenient. I use them everyday and everywhere- strollers , car seats to avoid accidents . A great everyday essential for patents .

My baby doesn’t like laying down on a cold hard changing pad and these quilted liners have been a game changer for us. They’re extremely soft, highly absorbent and simply comfortable. My baby now enjoys being changed and doesn’t get fussy. They’re extremely easy to clean and go in the dryer without shrinking. Highly recommend these!
AliceC
These quilted changing pad liners are great and durable. The only downside is that they don’t have any holders to keep them in place inside the changing pad, and sometimes when my baby moves, the pad also shifts. They are quilted and very soft, perfect for my baby's bottom.
IdalysO
These liners are soft, fit the changing pad well, and seem a good quality. But, because the Ubbi changing pad is a smooth plastic/silicone (great for cleaning, not comfortable for babies to lay on as is), these liners slip and slide everywhere while you’re changing the babe. I’m altering them to add grippy fabric on the bottom, like you’d find on toddler’s socks, and then they’ll be perfect. But they’d be much more worth the price if they were designed thoughtfully with their own traction to begin with!
