Stroller Steering Wheel

The steering wheel attaches to the stroller grab bar with velcro and is quick to put on, take off or reposition. No rated load, grip-strength figure, or test method for the velcro hold is published.

The fabric, plastic and horn components of the steering wheel are not named, and no PFAS-free, PVC-free or Prop 65 statement is published for this specific accessory, though such claims appear for other Orbit Baby fabrics.

This accessory attaches to Orbit Baby strollers that are Baby Safety Alliance (JPMA) certified, with eligible products independently sample-tested at accredited labs covering ASTM standards, lead, phthalates and flame retardants, retested annually. No certificate number specific to this steering wheel accessory is published.

No recall of this product appears in the CPSC recall database (10,053 records, 1973-2026). Orbit Baby's record holds two voluntary car seat base recalls: the 2013 G2 base, whose StrongArm knob could detach or spin without tightening, and a 2017 G3 base labeling issue in Canada, both remedied with free repair kits and no injuries reported. Neither covers the Stroller Steering Wheel.

We found no published chemistry disclosure for the steering wheel's own fabric or plastic components. Oeko-Tex textile certification and flame-retardant-free merino wool are mentioned for Orbit Baby car seats and strollers, but neither is stated to cover this accessory specifically.

Eligible Orbit Baby products carry the Baby Safety Alliance (formerly JPMA) Verified Seal, which requires independent lab sample-testing and annual retesting covering ASTM standards, federal and state law, and chemical limits for lead, phthalates and flame retardants. No certificate number for this specific accessory is published.

The steering wheel has a built-in squeaky horn and sits directly within the seated child's reach, but no statement addresses whether the horn or wheel parts are secured against detachment or tested for small parts.

Orbit Baby publishes a concrete two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, with stated exclusions (non-approved accessories, products bought before 2019 or outside the G5 series) and a defined claims process, plus a manuals library for assembly and use. Country of manufacture and supplier are not published.
