CURATEIQ

TrustScore breakdown

88 /100

We take what's most important for a product to determine the TrustScore. Here's our research:

JPMA Structural Certification 92

Orbit Baby states the Baby Safety Alliance Verified Seal, formerly JPMA Certified, covers eligible products including strollers with independent lab sample testing to ASTM standards, retested annually, though no certificate number is published for this frame.

Mechanical Safety Features 82

The frame is described with a 3DRotation 360-degree rotating and reclining SmartHub docking mechanism and independent suspension, but no hinge-cover, harness-buckle or brake-holding detail is given for this specific frame.

Safety Standard Compliance 92

Orbit Baby states its travel systems and strollers are tested to ASTM standards and CFR Title 16, and carries the Baby Safety Alliance Verified Seal (formerly JPMA Certified) covering ASTM standards, federal and state law, and chemical limits, with annual retesting, for eligible stroller products.

Recall History 92

No recall of this product appears in the CPSC recall database (10,053 records, 1973-2026). Orbit Baby's record holds two voluntary car seat base recalls: the 2013 G2 base, whose StrongArm knob could detach or spin without tightening, and a 2017 G3 base labeling issue in Canada, both remedied with free repair kits and no injuries reported. Neither covers the X5 Jogging Stroller Frame.

Textile & Foam Chemistry 77

This frame ships as aerospace-grade anodized aluminum with no seat, fabric or foam included, and nothing on the product listing addresses fabric, dye or foam chemistry for this item. No FR-free or PFAS-free statement is published for the frame itself.

Certification Credibility 92

Orbit Baby names a third-party JPMA/Baby Safety Alliance Verified Seal program, with independent lab sample testing against ASTM standards, federal/state law and chemical limits, retested annually, for eligible products including strollers, with no certificate number published for this frame.

Transparency & Support 91

Orbit Baby publishes a concrete two-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, with stated exclusions (non-approved accessories, products bought before 2019 or outside the G5 series) and a defined claims process, plus a manuals library for assembly and use. Country of manufacture and supplier are not published.

Washable Covers & Off-Gassing 77

Nothing on this frame listing addresses removable or washable covers or airing guidance, and no seat fabric ships with this product to which such guidance would even apply.

Customer Stories

Sentiment Summary

Customers describe the ride as smooth and comfortable for the baby, including on trails and while running.
Reviewers mention the frame's sleek design, 360-degree rotation, and suspension as standout features, especially on bumpy terrain.
Some customers highlight that the jogger folds flat and appreciate how interchangeable it is with other Orbit products.
Several reviewers describe the jogger as a worthwhile investment despite the price.

We use this stroller everywhere because it works so smooth and it is very comfortable for the baby. We had it for 5 months now, and this one we love the most. We own both Orbit stroller bases, and while both are great, this one is our favorite. It is also very smooth for when I go running and on trails.

I am "very impressed" with this company! First of, and most importantly, I received my order very quickly. I believe my items were shipped the same day I placed my order. Wow! This type of responsiveness is so amazing! And, of course, the quality of the items is top of the line! Honestly, I can't say enough about Orbit! I highly recommend this company!
Teresa S.
This jogger looks to be high quality and it folds down pretty flat. we love how interchangeable all the orbit products are.
